FYI ...

As of approximately the 16th the "punishment" for violating the cell phone rule, driving and using a cell phone without a hands-free device in New York state, will change to include a monetary fine plus 2 points on your license.

I for one am glad they are introducing these rules.

I subscribe to the German school of thought that you should concentrate and enjoy your drive.

Take care of your other business once you get out of the car. If you must talk, get a Bluetooth.
