reminds me a little of that video of first escalator in some middle eastern country i don't recall the name of. people were trying so hard to walk up the downward escalator.

In Kurdistan part of Iraq to be exact ...I guess still in Mid East technically though

..I can't wait for them to get the first glass elevators that runs outside of a building to roll all these "confusing" elements (glass, lift, automatic doors) into one big cluster fuck opportunity to be documented on YouTube soon.

Definitely not that far away. Photovoltaic glass already exists. Also, some of the lipophobic glass coverings will really help with skin oils. Corning does some interesting stuff with optics/lenses/glass in general these days.
