Question MTEC's on eBay?

I know the concensus around here is to stay away from things on eBay but there are some decent deals on MTEC AE's. Worth the risk?

EBay MTEC

Looks like an official seller to me? Look at the username and what he sells.

I ordered from them and got the product. 1 side is dimmer than the other, but I don't know if it's the bulb or something happening w/the alignment of the AE when I went to install the bulb. Either way I told the seller abt it and they requested I switch the sides and if problem still exists, they'll replace.

I'd buy from them again, I'm thinking it's not the bulb but something during the install (it was a PITA getting the holder in on the pass. side for some reason.

That happened to me the first time around too. I redid the installation, making sure the ends of the AE ring were properly aligned in the holder and that fixed the problem. They are bright and very even now! I had no issues getting mine through ebay, and they sure seem to be the real deal.

Thanks for the feed back guys. I had LUX 5.0 on my car but one of them went out. Wanted to try MTEC's this time around.

PM Derrick @ e92-lighting - he'll give you a better deal. Highly recommend him.

I would just order from e92 lighting. I feel any returns though eBay would be more difficult than a vendor on bimmerpost

I ordered these off Ebay from this vendor last weekend, they came on Wednesday and I installed today after work. They're definitely the genuine article and look great during daylight. I am waiting for it to get dark to see how they look at night. I bet it's gonna be very impressive. I did the side by side comparison after installing the passenger side and the difference vs stock is not even close, these are so much nicer.
