Its a T-Mobile one and they are very rare if you need one for att they go for 500 but I just want to sell it for a mtech kit LOL but I'm taking offers just pm me I know ppl will low ball me so I figure leave room for play

I'm gonna say he jailbroke and unlocked it so it can work with the t-mobile network, unlike nearly all iPhone 4s on the market right now. GLWS OP

Well when I said Tmobile iPhone I though everyone knew that apple never released a iPhone with Tmobile and since you can't fuzzy band the baseband on the iPhone 4 like you could on the 3gs this makes the phone RARE. Just because a iPhone is jailbroken that dosent mean it can be unlock. The jailbreak just let you modify the? phone and the unlock will let the phone work on Tmobile edge network. I don't understand why would tofu even comment on a topic that you are obviously ignorant on ? Thanks yakev .

they just came out with an untethered jailbreak for the iphone 3gs/4, and iPad 2 weeks ago. the value of an unlocked iPhone 4 is going to go down. glws though

Untethered JB is almost completely unrelated to the value of this phone.

T-Mobile 3G operates on 1700 AND 2100 MHz, so you see the phone physically doesn't support it.

Jailbreak and unlock don't go hand in hand. iPhone 4's produced after about October 2010 (versions 4.1, 4.2.1) can't (and could never have been) unlocked. As a result, from the onset, you're only looking at about 30% of phones produced. Next, most of these 30% have been unknowingly updated past 4.0.2 by either customers who plan on sticking with AT&T and don't care, or idiots. You end up with probably about only 3-4% of iPhone 4's ever manufactured in the US which can be unlocked.

OP's price is due to the 3-4% rarity of this phone.

I personally have an iphone 4 unlocked and using on t-mobile. It uses EDGE. It was jailbreaked with redsnow and unlocked with ultrasnow. Needless to say its on 4.1 firmware. The 4.2.1 is unlockable at this point as long as you are not on 03.10.01 bb

You're absolutely right, though BB 2.10.04 (official 4.1 update) is not unlockable either. If it was, there would be MUCH more unlockable phones available as 4.2.1 (and consequently 3.10.01) is relatively new.

If you have a newer iPhone 4 that can't be unlocked just go to an apple store an exchange it for a refurb. All the refurbs are on 4.0 and earlier.

Complete BS. Last time u could get 4.0.2 or older "refurbs" was in november-december. Now they're all on 4.2.1, not even 4.1. Also, iPhone 4s were released with 4.0, that's the earliest firmware they can possibly run (without some insane prog skills)

And the reason refurbs is in quotes is because apple only exchanges with new phones that are no different than if purchased for retail.
