+1

If I drove to NYC for work instead of taking the train, my car would totally sport that look.

i wouldn't go as far as the side protection, but if I could haev some sort of protection for my naked front bumper, I'd be all for it. I do have a bumper bully thing for my rear bumper when parking in a tight spot.

I have a bumper bully or badger, or guard, or one of those, for the rear... I need something for the front. some ass-hat actually made a dent in the part of my front bumper that goes inbetween my kidney grills

my 135i was hit dead center in between the kidney grills too! No one noticed but me, but it was a bad spot to get hit

heh, I personally saw someone tap my 135i rear bumper with the bumper badger thing out, so just on that alone, it's worth its weight in gold. Won't help for sideswipes or bumper corners, but it's a good preventive measure.

What I do with mine is, I don't hang it dead center. Which ever side the street is located, I shift it more towards that side. This covers more part of the rear bumper where you are more likely to get swiped when a car is pulling out behind u. But I have the "Bumper Bully" which is better then those knock-off "bumper badger" thin rubber mat looking crap. Mine actually covers a lot more and has padding on it.

Here's a pic I found online just for reference
