OK wtf is going on here. For anyone who can be bothered reading is this based on a DB9? I'm confused. To me it seems like we have: DB9, DB9 Virage and DB9 S. Kinda like A4, S4, RS4.
However, Aston are making it seem like they have 3 totally different models and giving them different names. I just don't see the point of this car. Sure it looks sharper but why cant this just be the new DB9? It's only got 20bhp more than the current DB9 and looks like a facelift. Even the wheels are almost the same as the DBS wheels lol

Don't get me wrong, it does look really good. I love the sharper headlights and bumper changes BUT to me it's just a facelift with 20bhp more. It's not a whole new model to be sold along the DB9.
Also, notice how they slide it between the DB9 and DBS. 470bhp, 490bhp and 510bhp. What the hell is the point of that? These differences are tiny to justify 3 seperate models with different names. Even Topgear said think of the DBS as a DB9-S, and thats coming from Clarkson who is an Aston fan.

Aston designer to boss: "Right, that new Aston design, done it, I'm off to the pub now".
it'll be funnier if you picture a lazy bloke with an English accent. |
