Short shifter Performance for 325, install or not?
Hi everybody again from Russia, Need your advice. No choice of shifters have we in Russia, only performance or M (but never seen).
I have american 325 (N52B30) decide to instal this gadget. Is it really good thing and easier to shift gears? Also want to know, is it comfortable for hand when the elbow is on the armrest and the hand on shifter (it is seems to be lower than standart). |

The actual leaver the same hight as stock shifter but the new shift knob is shorter. The throw and feel is way better. It's not too short where the effort get too high.

If you have an early 325i, the lever is taller, and long throws, check RealOEM.com. I swapped mine for a 328i lever and ZHP short knob, makes for a perfect short shift.

Do it. I love my SSK. I was not a fan of the performance shift knob and went with the proliferated leather knob.
The throw is a lot better and the new knob is shorter than the stock. |
