Dinan experience (drag times, dyno graphs, product reviews)

I wanted to take the time to devote this thread to Dinan products and experiences you have with them such as 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile runs, power gains, appeal, and overall performance. Starting from Stage 1 tune to a full blown S3 Dinan cars. Please post your drag times, dyno graphs and what you like about the product. Same goes for a negative experience with the product if you had/have any. I think this would really help some of us get an idea where we'd stand depending on a certain product choice. Dealer reviews are great but consumer reviews could be better. Please if you want me to post some quick links to existing Dinan threads so I could post them on here for a quick reference I would gladly do so.

Please if you are not a Dinan user dont be making smart a** comments and try to keep the negativity to yourself.

Thanks in advance .

My impressions

I am a fairly new owner of a 2007 335i and was very pleased with my purchase and couldn't be happier with the first BMW I have had the pleasure of owning. That being said, I felt that my new ultimate driving machine needed a little extra oomph to go along with the wonderful ride. After reading through countless posts on this forum and some of the issues some of the other mods had to deal with and how the dealerships were treating them I decided that Dinan was the choice I was going to make.
I then handed over my keys and car to the local Dinan dealer(who I might add are amazing up here in Santa Rosa) and waited patiently to get my parts installed. After getting my car back....all I could say was WOW! The difference is amazing and it was much more than I was expecting. I find myself wanting to go for drives to the store to pick up random things I don't need. The Dinan exhaust is quiet when you are in the low rpms but as soon as you press on the gas it comes alive and sounds amazing. The cold air intake, stage 3, oil cooler, intercooler put you in the back of your seat and will get you above the speed limit before you know it.
I haven't had a chance to dyno the car or take it to a track but it is on my list of things to do as soon as I get the time. Also I will be adding the front strut bar sometime next week and start saving for the flywheel and limited slip differential.
Well that is my impressions so far and will keep everybody updated if I run into any issues as well as when I get more things added to the car.

Thanks for sharing. I was going to suggest another option that IMO better than Dinan strut bar and cheaper. Its a strut bar from the M3, and yes it fits e90 or e92.(not sure about e93) Here is the link http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

Does anyone have any stage 2 vs stage 3 dyno numbers? 1/4 mile times? 60-130 times?

Just curious. Thanks!

I appreciate the suggestion but I am OCD when it comes to matching stuff so I am gonna stick with Dinan for the strut bar. Also I will be getting a dyno done in the next couple of days and will post it up when it is done so everybody can see a comparison between S2 and S3.
