When do you plan on switching to summers?

For those of you running winter/summer setups, when do you plan on switching? I plan on waiting at least till April. It's also still full of potholes around here.

True. It's ridiculous how many potholes we have in NYC. My block has at least 15. Can't wait though, I love my summers.

Oh btw, do you guys do alignment when you switch sets? Do you guys go to independent shops or to a BMW dealer?

yea i will NOT be doing alignment for swapping wheels only, however if you are doing any suspension work i would get an alignment

Still looking for the right pair of summer wheels to pick up, hopefully in the next 3 weeks or so. Fortunately the roads I travel going to and from work are in decent shape.

I just went with an all-season tire, and honestly they provide better straight line traction than my old summers did (Dunlop Direzza Z1).

I'll be switching in Mid June. Love my summers too but I'm not gonna smash them into all these potholes... I'll wait till they fill them up

Oh and for those of you wondering, you do NOT need an alignment unless you are raising or lowering your suspension or changing shocks springs etc. If you are just simply swapping wheels, you don't need an alignment.

I plan to put my summers back on within the next two weeks, depending on how the weather is looking
thankfully, the roads are really good here in central jersey, so I'm not too worried about potholes
after todays meet though, Idk how you ny people ever put summer wheels on,
It's going to be august by the time they repair the warzone like highways up there
