Got my first BMW ::cheer::
Howdy folks! I recently purchased my first BMW and have been frequenting these forums for assistance and guidance in learning all about it. Unfortunately, when I got the car, it wasn't washed so it's taken me a week or so to get out here and post (pssh who wants to see a pic of a dirty car?!) So here is what I got:
2007 335i E90 Auto/Steptronic 32K Miles @ $22,800 no nav I put the price I paid just to get a feel for what you guys think regarding the deal. From what I've researched, it seemed to be quite a deal, but would love your input ..now onto the pics! So, for my mod-wish list, I'm thinking: smoked blacklines, full hid/led swap, down pipe of some sort, CAI, JB4 (or other ECU mod if convinced by someone with experience ) Further down the road wishlist: Wheels, body kit (need to replace front bumper as theres some pretty bad road rash on the bottom lip - or maybe just get new lip??) Oh also, I'm in The Colony, TX and plan on going to next month's cars and coffee, maybe I'll see some of you there! Last edited by PaiNFuLSeDaTiVe; 02-28-2011 at 02:07 PM.. |

nice ride!!! let me know if you need any help installing any of those mods on your car. JB4 or a Procede will make awesome gains on your car and not too hard to install.

Welcome! I just picked up another 335i.. I had to sell my previous e92 335i when We decided to move from Ft. Previous one was AW/CR 6spd... this one is Montego Blue with Black.. not as beautiful as my previous one but for the price I paid for it I can learn to love her.. here is a pic! oh and I hope to make it out to the next DFW meet...
P.S. I live in Frisco and work in Irving... |

Sweet Michael, I'm off Blair Oaks and Pemberton.
Thanks for the help offer Young! ..and Lito I definitely have been thinking about a spoiler as well, just something about a dog with it's tail between it's legs look that doesn't look good to me Been thinking between the Cobb and JB4 as well. Nice color on your E93 ZR! Thanks again for the welcome guys! Can't wait for the next meet Last edited by PaiNFuLSeDaTiVe; 02-28-2011 at 05:08 PM.. |

I should prlly post this in another forum but figured since I have your attention, how difficult is it to add some subs in the trunk? I have the premium sound in this car, with the subs, but they just don't offer the thump I'm accustomed to. Does the stock deck come with any pre-outs or would it be an adapter I'd have to purchase?
Also, got an Injen CAI and Magnaflow catback for a 3G eclipse I'm looking to sell if anyone knows anyone in the area that would be interested |

I'm in the process of upgrading my base audio system and subs are going in the trunk. Imperator is the guy who really knows the details though, send him a PM. I'm pretty sure there are no pre-outs and you'll need to get a JL Audio CleanSweep (or similar product) to get make the install as hassle-free as possible.

VN Lito! Wanna sell it?
Yeah, Wookie, I figured as much, but I can always hope, right? lol. Young, you have links or a model number with what you are using? Also, I can't remember if the deck has it, but if it does - will the deck's sub dB controls work with the aftermarket considering they are basically jumpering off of the stock outs? (at least it sounds that way) |

Young, after more perusing, I realized you meant 'Technic' as a forums member, and not the old school manufacturer
I have emailed him and hope to get this setup soon. Did the harness actually bypass your stock amp/subs or allow you to pass-thru and add the additional sub? TXe92 - I'm assuming you meant your post to me I got it from the individual reseller that was working with my boss to sell it. He's actually a friend of my buddy, so I'm sure that factored into the cost somewhat. Litos - $950? I thought I saw those spoilers going for $185 painted on jbspeed? Of course, yours appears to be CF. /sarcasm maybe? |
