Quick question/advice on my E90 to H&R Race Springs

Good day all,

i just want your opinion on my E90. What do you guys think if i change my OEM sports suspension to H&R race springs? the picture below shows how low my car is current and i know it'll look more aggresive if i change it to H&R race. Also, i noted that H&R Race Springs will lower my car an average of 1.5-2"

any advice would help and appreciated.

Thank you

Hmm, I would say just stay stock, sport suspension if your not going C/O. What is the point? This car was made to the best of BMW's ability, they made the sport suspension to perform the best on this car. When people change it the car is not meant to have A/F springs, hence things could ware differently than if it were oem springs. If you alter your suspension you will not be able to take it in to the dealer as you know probably.

Not that I dont like the look of a lowered car, I used to have an IS300 that was lowered maybe 2inches, and I hated going slow to avoid the scrape. Gl, with whatever you decide.

i used to have koni yellow's with h&r race springs with vmw vb3 19" 8.5front with a 15mm spacer and 9.5rear with a 18mm spacer. didnt rub or scrape.

then i traded wheels to sport technic mono 10 (made by rays) same size wheels but with thicker tires, spacers only in the front (15mm) i still had the same set up with the race springs n koni's and i was rubbing and scraping like crazy.

same wheels(15mm spacer in front) with koni yellow and h&r sport. no rubbing, i just scrape in front sometimes when i hit big pothole or something like it.

i like the sport set up it rides a little smoother, it still looks good and it closes the gap front the tire and the fenders. if your gonna keep your stocks with out spacers i think itll kinda weird with a drop cuz your tires and rims will be sucked in. lol moral of the story if you get the race springs your going to have to change the way you drive and its be more bumpier... hope this helps

I scrape like a mafucker with just the Sport springs on my Sport Shocks. My hamann cf lip is falling apart underneath. stick with the sport springs especially here in the bay. you'll regret the races

yes, thank you...streets in SF are not very friendly. Even with my OEM riding thru potholes in 19th Ave, my heart cries
