Washington DC PROcede dyno day results

Just wrapped up the day a couple hours ago. Thanks to the guys at Atlantic Motorsports, we managed to install and dyno test 7 PROcedes in a bit over 5 hours. I think that may be a record

I can post the actual dyno graphs when i get back to CA (or others can beat me to it). As a reference, stock 335is made 270-275whp and 280-290lbft of torque as tested on their dyno today.

Running the PROcede, with the baseline map (no additional custom tuning), they made 315-330whp and 370-390lbft of torque-- the main cause of variance being gasoline formulation/quality. All the cars were 6MTs and all of them were stock (no exhaust). Thanks to everyone who participated. And props to Stepan for giving me a ride back to the Hotel. As a thank-you to him, I installed a PROcede in his car at a gas station That's a first.

Cheers,
shiv

Congratulations everyone on your cars!

Nice meeting everyone! Nice bunch of people. Heck, I rode clem's car, and it was sooo nice! To top it off, he saved me $3K on my lease before the night was over. Way to go bro! Actually makes waiting for my car painful..lol. Cool group of guys, and those 335s looked so sweet! The feaking sound is music. I especially liked the turbo whine on WOT after Proceed. I am ordering mine to take to Germany when I do ED in June.

Shiv, nice to see the guy behind the magic. Go NJ! But let's be honest, "Shiv you are not an engineer" I guess that makes you a genius then? In that case I am with Genius

Whining agound here usually comes from 330 owners.... I'm longing for some from my 335i . Shiv needs to make one of those Amazon.com wishlists like strippers have.:rocks:

Hey Guys,

First off, thank you Shiv for dragging your jet lagged butt out of bed to nail 7 installs and dynos after a slow start in the morning on that mystery dyno machine. The resonation from that thing at about 5000 rpms was a little scary. I found myself sliding in behind someone else during the pulls.

I am thrilled with my results - 320rwhp and 387rwtq - on my green motor with only 850 miles. The driveability remains silky smooth but it just pulls like a pig. I love that I can hear those turbos now! I expected a lot and the Procede delivered. Get one now before Shiv ends up in rehab from too much travel and not enough sleep. And someone please buy that boy a travel tool kit!

It's priceless watch a bunch of grown men surround a monitor waiting for the graph to come up! Great way to spend a Saturday and great meeting all you guys. Hope you out-of-towners made it home safely and without getting nailed in Va!

Great to meet you all, eventough I did not get the Procede. Shiv is a great guy and funny to boot.
John's car looked great with those red rims spinning on the dyno.

It is also funny to watch a bunch of grown guys watching the "Proceded" guys coming back from their test drive with a big smirk on their face. Every one asking "How was she", just like a bunch of teenage boys........

Too bad I didn't stay for very long. Watching cars go fast while standing still isn't really my girlfriend's favorite way of spending a Saturday afternoon. I was the guy with the //M hat and the little asian girl. My dad and lil bro got to stay alot longer than I did. Those red rims where pretty pretty, and I liked that 335 with the aerokit and wheels that someone had.

I'm also syked that our 335 got the highest score of the day.
333whp and 391wtrq
I can't wait to come back up for Spring Break and take her for a spin.

Also that day, I managed to get a shop tour at Competizione (the local Ferrari haven), and got to see their warehouse that they store the customer cars, I almost cried , it was one of those kodak moments. I talked to Richard and I'll hopefully be scoring a summer job there. Damn that would be sooo sweet.

Here's a couple of pics of yesterday's festivities. Some of our cars lined up outside anxiously awaiting the Procede install.

Second pic is of Shiv catching a break between pulls.

Nope, found them on ebay. They are 19's. His car is dropped, that may be why they look a bit big.

Actually they are 20"s (my car)... someone on ebay is using my pic (without permission) from the before / after thread I started started a while back:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32091

It's funny beacsuse they are using the pic to sell both 19"s and 20"s.

The car is lowered on the Eibach CoilOver kit.

Shiv, thanks for coming out to the DC area and using our dyno. Very impressive dyno numbers out of stock cars!

PS. If anyone would like PDF / digital prints of their dyno charts, please PM us your email address.

Thank you all again for coming out to the dyno day.
