Micro Restore Detergent

What do you guys use to wash your microfiber towels? I heard regular laundry detergent is no good. Have any of you used Micro Restore Detergent?

I've been using it off and on lately - about every other wash. I'm not too impressed with it's cleaning ability but do like the way it seems to restore a little of the fluff factor or general feel of the towels again. I probably won't get it again and will go back to regular liquid laundry soap (no softeners) and a 1/4 - 1/2 cup of white distilled vinegar added to the last cycle. A second rinse cycle just to make sure they're rinsed well and air dry.

Thanks for the opinion. I have been putting mine in the dryer. I guess that is a bad idea. They have been coming out rather rough. What does the vinegar do?

I also lightly dry mine in a dryer too but remove them still damp and then air dry the rest of the moisture out. I would avoid drying them completely in the heat of a dryer because the excessive heat is not good for the materials these things are made out of - basically synthetic plastics, nylon or whatever.

White distilled vinegar fluffs them back up by counteracting hard water from your residential water source. Much the same as vinegar is used to clean water stains from coffee pots, shower heads etc., it's a good dissolver of hard water and such.

You can actually dry your microfibers at the highest temperature without doing any harm, household dryers simply dont get hot enough to melt the fibers.
