Just got a flat tire; input needed
Hey fellas,
I recently got a flat on the rear passenger side tire on my 18' Bridgestone RFTs (on a 2008 335i sedan @ ~14000 kms). I went to the local shops, but as you can expect from living in Halifax, NS, the prices aren't too consumer friendly. The lowest quote I've gotten so far is $487 taxes in to purchase one tire and have it shipped to me in a weeks time. So, I'm thinking that it probably makes more sense for me to buy a new set altogether for cheaper, since according to the local BMW dealership, my tire set as a whole looks like it needs replacing. I've taken a look at some of the ads on kijiji, and this seems doable: Quote:
If you know of any other sites/dealers that I could talk to that would be a better option, pls. let me know. Thanks in advance for any help you can toss my way guys. |

Why are you looking at both wheels and tires, just because you got a flat? If you don't like your current wheels, that's one thing. But don't let anyone lie to you that if you go to non-runflat (conventional) tires that you need new rims to go along with them -- nothing could be further than the truth! Conventional tires will work just fine on your stock BMW wheels.

Hey, what's up 02! Remember you from the last time I posted, which was a while back. Shame that dealer you recommended me back then wasn't still stocking those M3 reps eh, otherwise I might not even be talking about this :P. You had any experience with Falken's? I was talking to a couple tire retailers around GTA and they were quoting me a price of
$1450 with 18' M3 reps, staggered w/Triangle $1650 with 18' M3 reps, staggered w/Falkens $1700 with 19' M3 reps, staggered w/Triangle Thoughts? Quote:
