sad story and easily prevented. I can't imagine kids that young being well experienced in maintaining speeds like that unless they were racers by profession.

Saw the road closed this morning. Its just a half a mile from my house. The stretch of road they were racing on is smooth and straight, conditions were dry and nobody on the road. However there is always a cop in the median there.

but 145mph in a neon on the LIE is probably #1 dumbest thing to do

Those srt4 neon guys love to race. Some are actually pretty quick. But again any car with the word neon is ng.

I had a neon 7yrs ago, and it's scary just doing over 65mph let alone 145. Stupid isn't the word, ignorant is more like it.

F he actually slowed down. You pass a cop doing 140 on a bike and hes at a stop your gone unless you brake.
