Just filled up with super, got back in the car and closed the door, thought FCUK I’ve shut the seat belt buckle in the door.
Turns out the electric windows have packed up, as too have the locks. Problem is being a Coupe, the window is now outside the seal and trying to bend itself outwards by 12mm Tried the normal, lock unlock, engine on/off, but nothing, in the end, I disconnected the negative cable of the battery for a few seconds and all's good again after a reboot Just thought this might help, if the same happens to anyone else. |

As you would expect being more computer controlled than ever. The trusty 'turn it off, then back on again' fix. Works every time. I wonder how many times a BMW technician does this to your car when they say it needs a software update for £120!!
