Changing Angel Eyes

Hi chaps. I have a 320d MSport Coupe on a 58 plate. On newer models I've seen much whiter angel eyes. When were these introduced? Will these new bulbs fit my car and if so how much is it to get a dealer to do them.

Did try searching but couldn't see what I was after.

Thanks for your help

They were after LCI (facelift). I hear they don't fit pre-facelift but you can buy aftermarket LED H8 bulbs. Lots of random ones out there depends how much your looking to spend.

There are some on hids direct although they might be a bit too blue for some people as they are 7k.

If you have xenon headlights you can upgrade the bulb. We have the Arc Angel Bulbs for whiter lights. Removes the oem yellowish light.

Yeah, there lots but the most recent is this thread. Left is original yellow right is the new bulb. It's sharper whiter light.

http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11661

Prices are cut to match US pricing so best value already plus delivery can be next day or 1st class post. However stock is almost gone and next delivery is in 15 days

Hi Nick,

The bulbs are for the listed models/year.

Owners of the 2005-2008 E90 and E91 models with Xenons see here...

http://www.burgertuning.com/BMW_LED_angel_eyes.html

Owners of the E90/E91 2009-2011 with Halogen bulbs...

If there's demand we can stock them. Email me for a price and info.

Either my maths is crap but how is £27 the same as $25?

If you are matching US pricing then you should be charging around £17? Or am I missing something here?

Your forgetting the US P+P, import duty and VAT. Plus you don't have to wait the typical 10-15 days for import.

What I noticed from the pics of the halogen car was that although the LEDs were whiter, they didn't seem brighter.

Has the photo been adjusted or are they not actually a solution for people who want a bright day time light?

Installed the Arc Angel bulbs on saturday.
The pictures were taken with an iphone so the colour balance is slightly off.

The first image (passenger side) is with the new bulbs then the second is the original.

They seem to have a red hue in the photo but it's a lot whiter in person.

Overall they are good for the price, not as vivid and sharp as some of the LED options out there but do look more like the LCI eyes.
