depends on the tire size i guess and if it's rolled.
saw some guy's photos with LC wheels and 275s in the rear and it looked like 10mm spacer would have been close but doable. that was on an e90 though |

why not just stick a ruler to the wheel, under the fender to see how thick of a spacer you need for the stance / flushness you want?

Tire size is 275/30 with a rolled fender.
I would try a ruler but this would be more exact as i could see how it would fit if the actual spacer was on the car rather then being " as close as possible" with the measurement. I was thinking going 5mm all around and calling it a day but i think i could push 10mm in the rears and get away with it. |

Well then my advice is then to go either 5 or 12mm, reason being 10s can be really tricky with aftermarket wheels due to the hub lips, search for it, you'd be surprised how many people have had this issue. Btw 5mm is about 1/5th of an inch so it'll be barely noticeable.

Thanks for the advice .. Problem with 12mm spacers i think is will be too aggressive on a 3 series coupe . Ill see what i can come up with, just wish someone around here had some spacers laying around lol..
