Okay I bought this from "Pseudo Nim" he is a member on here but decided not to do it or decided to get something else I should say. Here are the details.

This is an original M3 cluster. You need to have it coded for your car, obviously, but this is not difficult to do - there are several people on this forum who will do it for varying amounts of money (if you're really bereft of ideas, PM me and I will set you up). Once coded, it's a PLUG AND PLAY install, i.e. you swap the cluster and you're done.

Or you can strip it and just take out the needles and all that stuff and keep your OEM cluster. People have done that too.

The part # is 62107841245. Tischer sells it for $925 new.

I'm looking for 500 shipped ConUS/Canada **OR** I might be interested in a trade against a good steering wheel with paddle cutouts (Performance/Mtech ... haven't thought this through yet, but if you're interested, talk to me - we'll figure something out). This is probably one of the coolest mods you can do to your 335 if you're into this - there certainly aren't many around with an M3 cluster!

Note: once coded for your VIN, obviously the CORRECT mileage and so on will display. Finally: this is the US spec cluster, i.e. miles/fahrenheit (although kilometres are shown as well).

So I'm also asking $500 shipped, paypal you pay 3%.
Thank you!

more info on the coding? so just plug this in and get it coded? does the dealer need to do anything and would a program update from BMW reset this cluster again?

Program update from dealer won't reset this cluster. Once it's coded, it's permanent. I was gonna take it to one of my buddy for coding (BMW tech) but I just bought something else for my car so I'm letting this go...I'd love to keep it and I still might...

Count me interested if you're willing to work on the price a bit, otherwise I'll just hold out for a salvage yard. I missed one on eBay that sold for just over $300 a couple months ago.

You'd have to

1) Program car's VIN to the cluster (Progman/SSS or winkfp)
2) Program car's VO to cluster (NCS)
** Depending on your car's and this modules production dates, you may need to temporarily change the production date to be able to code the cluster via NCS. This is only necessary if the coding index of this cluster is different to your car's original cluster.
3) Program default coding values to module via (NCS--write empty .man file)

This worked for me and a 335is cluster manufactured 5 yrs. after my car.

Okay. I just ordered another M3 cluster from Patrys@BimmerTech, Because!

1. He is the only person that I know who can code M3 Cluster properly.

2. I didn't wanted to wait 20 days in total to ship out my M3 cluster and get it back.

3. Again, I am impatient.

So here's the deal. I will knock off 50% off from my asking price. Asking $250 plus shipping. However IF you wanted this cluster to be coded for your car which you'd need to why would you buy it if it doesn't display your cars information. Patrys@BimmerTech charges $350 for coding and shipped back to you. And From where I am at (Ventura, CA 93004) cheapest shipping cost was $44 through USPS First Class(6~10 days) plus packing was extra $7 to Poland where Patrys@BimmerTech lives. So If you want this cluster and doesn't mind waiting I can ship it out to Patrys@BimmerTech. You just paypal me $650. And you will have perfectly coded M3 Cluster for your car within a month. I tried to have it coded here in the states but wasn't easy. and this is the ONLY way to make this work for your car. So if you are interested, please let me know

Once coded does the shift light work with the manual? Is it programable?

This cluster doesn't have shift light holes on top to begin with and from what I read on the forum, shift light can't be coded for non-M. Everything else works fine though. Dynamic Redline works as well.
