Warranty
I'm reaching almost 45k miles. Currently at 43k. Do I bring it in at the 45k markor before? Will the dealer even inspect the car before that period even though the computer says theres like 3k miles left before my next oil change? Any advice would help, thanks

Dealer won't do anything unless the computer (CBS) tells you that it needs service.
If you went in for the heck of it this is how it will play out: Ace: I am here for my 45,000 mile check-up SA: There is no such thing, is your car telling you that you need servcie? Ace: Nope, just wanted you guys to see if anything is wrong with it before the warranty is up. SA: Sure, but we will have to charge you $150.00 Ace: Oh, no thanks. SA: Well if you change your mind I will be right here, if you want, you can have a cup of coffee or look around at our 2011 cars, be our guest. Now if you want, about 2,000 miles before it expires have an independent mechanic inspect it and then take that list to BMW. An independent might also charge about $100-150, but I would trust them more than having BMW inspect the car.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger
