E90 330i/335i or 2003-05 E55 AMG

Hey guys, I am going back into looking for another e90 again. Possibly would kill and give my left nut for another fully loaded monaco blue 330i with active steering and no nav 6 speed. Blue on beige caught my eye but she's in the scraps and looking for another one exactly like that isn't going to be easy. Although, I am considering a 335i this time as well. Last year, I really didn't want one due to the HPFP issues but with the recall, does this mean that you'll never have to replace the fuel pump because BMW recall, put low pressure fuel pumps? And lastly, I talked to Joe @ MAC and I have to agree I am too a BMW enthusiast and cant stand how BENZ only offers stick to 2 models but, a 03-05 E55 AMG is pretty hard to let go as well. Asking for some guidance/ advice guys thanks!

Man, I would love an m3

but on topic, if maintainence is a worry, Don't go with the e55's
My dad has an e500, and it makes my bimmer's maintainence look like a joke
I'm assuming an AMG model is even more expensive, so that's up to you
They are very fast cars though, and can be made even faster very easily

meanwhile a 335 is available with warranty, and even without it, the hpfp is covered till 120k miles, and also very fast with a few mods.

The chances of you finding an equivalent 330 are pretty slim, so I'd say a 335 would be a good choice

I would go for the benz. =) most of my friends who work at the dealership do recommend avoiding the turbo bmw's and most audi's, The benz will be most reliable of all.

As for maintenance... learn to turn wrenches. It will save you alot.... or go make friends with a mechanic.
