Waiting for new dyno sheets.
450rwhp for $3000 isn't impressing me. Guess they need to figure out fueling?

I have baby-upgraded turbos, but I'll still contribute.. here's the latest log of mine from february.

pump 93 only, 100% ign. correction. This is one of the pre-beta dic maps if I remember correctly

here are a couple meth logs from october (sorry don't remember the firmware/software i was using at the time). this was with a CM10 nozzle

$3000 isn't bad when you consider the fact that the e46 M3 gains only a couple of horsepower from $1000 headers

anything other than stock at this point... modified stock turbos, or the mythological single turbo setup.

Dzenno in the other thread you asked "anonemouse, are you misfiring up top as well? have any datalogs to share?"

No obvious misfires so far, but only pushed it to around 14.5PSI. I'll push it more when I am confident it is running fine there. Got some datalogs from before I modified the settings to compensate for the stiff wastegates, also didn't disable the DTC so those logs are useless.

Everytime I go out to log it either starts raining or get no break in local traffic to get some good logs. Will try again this week though, otherwise I am sure Shiv will post some of the Dyno runs when he takes my car.

I should say even at 14.5PSI on 93 with Shiv's last map the car is a whole lot of fun, on the way to work I pulled a surprise on an overly agressive M5 that was riding my bumper letting me know he was there. Gotta love that 335 Torque.

So it seems I'm the only one misfiring up top of the upgraded turbo guys so far? A few others that also misfire aren't running upgraded...might actually not be boost related?? Or am I wrong..

Anonemouse, when you say 14.5psi you really mean 45% UT value right? Default map2 2-14firmware?

The only time I had misfire issues was when one of my injectors died, and the car would misfire at idle.

500 yes.
I'd say most FBO car's run close to ~400-420 whp, right?
An additional 30-50 whp doesn't seem worth it. Maybe if you tacked on meth on it and were able to make more.

It's about more than peak numbers tho, I guess. That's just what I look at first.

power under the curve is far more important than glory-peak runs which push the stock turbos far beyond what they were designed to run. The RB's look to produce around 450whp at only 16psi, which is very conservative/repeatable.... and that is to nearly redline.

Dzenno did 511 whp on Race gas and meth and 19psi, repeatable but you dont want to run that on only meth for safety and the fuel system is basically maxed out than.

This is a VERY fast car at only 16 psi and pump all the way to redline. you would kill almost anything with it i think and still have plenty of safety margin. Spray a bit on top of that and you are golden.

No the big problem with the NGK plugs was a lot of weird timing dropouts that I never had before
