I refuse to play MMOs, but I loved KOTOR.
Refusal to play MMOs outweighs wanting to try this out.

I've been playing wow since its release... Im really banking on this game taking me away from it. However it does look like it is wow reskinned.
But if this is half of what Kotor 1 and 2 were this will be the greatest mmo ever. *Fingers Crossed* ![]() TK know what good gaming is btw, ![]() |

In retrospect, what a fucking disaster this game was.
I quit (along w/ basically my whole guild after we cleared 10/10 NM) back in mid march due to issues seemed to prolong themselves due to BW's total inaction with mending this game's issues. Out of curiosity, I just browsed the forums... looks like they still have yet to resolve many of the HUGE issues that plagued this game from the beginning (i.e. ridiculously low server populations) This game was nothing but empty promises. It did not deliver and continues that trend today from what it looks like. In the meantime, EA's stock is taking a shit. |

Ilum was a bust, but they were pretty open about that. The launch was also the smoothest of any game of that size in history. There was literally zero hiccups on launch day. A side effect of the engine was the server pops. I've heard they are working on making fewer larger servers and that it may happen soonish like patch 1.3. But who knows. Also, they needed to reconfigure a few of the logistics in the game. All of the flashpoint portals on the fleets should be turned into planetary shuttles. This would make it feel more like an actual hub. Then go into the world and give the flash points a physical departure location. This would have a side effect of increasing player activity in the world which would create world pvp and just overall make it feel less dead. As I said, the issue is end game. Well, the faction segregation didn't help either. The game wasn't terrible, certainly better than most in my opinion. But not good enough it would seem. Not to mention it was almost damned from day 1 because of the ridiculous nature of Star Wars fans. Never has a group of people demanded so much, but knew so little about what they actually needed. And to say that Bioware didn't fix any issues is blind, they made many improvements. Maybe just not to the issue that you in particular thought was needed most.

I enjoyed having to go through 3-4 different loading screen/area(s) just to go from my ship to a new zone or vice versa... every. time.
It was cool to see that once or twice but just a major pain in the ass after that.

Leveling was good, endgame was garbage. I quit after a few weeks at cap having cleared everything. What a waste of time.
