Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, My alloy wheel clear coat has seemed to gone milky/patchy in spots/sections over the wheel, The wheel feels still very smooth to touch so not pour us.

I used an alloy Cleaner which Contains sulfuric acid and ammonium bifluoride and I think I left it on too long before washing off and since then I have this problem.

I had a Touch up guy out today who has said the only way to fix is get the entire wheel re sprayed but before I do I though I would ask you guys for some feedback?

And next time use an acid free wheel cleaner, like meguiars (better) and armorall (cheaper) lol

If it's eaten away at the paint maybe respraying is the way to go - but you could always try do a touch up in the affected areas.
