Damaged Alloy Wheel help
Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, My alloy wheel clear coat has seemed to gone milky/patchy in spots/sections over the wheel, The wheel feels still very smooth to touch so not pour us.
I used an alloy Cleaner which Contains sulfuric acid and ammonium bifluoride and I think I left it on too long before washing off and since then I have this problem. I had a Touch up guy out today who has said the only way to fix is get the entire wheel re sprayed but before I do I though I would ask you guys for some feedback? Thanks guys J

Post a pic?
And next time use an acid free wheel cleaner, like meguiars (better) and armorall (cheaper) lol If it's eaten away at the paint maybe respraying is the way to go - but you could always try do a touch up in the affected areas. |
