Socal indy shop that can do alignment for E93 w/ active steering
I've heard numerous claims that if you have a BMW with active steering then your only real option for an alignment is to get it done at the dealer ($300, yikes!). This requires specialized equipment that most indy shops do not have.
For all you owners with active steering have you gotten an alignment done at an indy shop? What has been your experience, any shops you can recommend that have the equipment to do this right? I live near Santa Monica so Ventura or LA county areas would be preferred but I would drive out a bit further if I can save a good chunk of change... FYI, what happened is that I hit a HUGE pot hole last week that knocked in 2 bubbles on both right sides RFTs. Right afterwards, I noticed a bit of "wobblyness" but I though it was due to the bubbles on the tire sidewalls. Well I got all 4 tires replaced with brand new ones (non RFTs) and there is a slight lean to the right. Thanks in advance. |

Bump.
I want to get an alignment soon, and was wondering if there are any indy shops that can do active steering. Anybody try it? I was thinking of calling up JC Auto House on monday. Anybody have any experience with them? |
