New member in Meriden CT

Took delivery on 3/13 of a 2009 CPO black sapphire metallic 335xi coupe. Has sport, premium, cold and nav. Really loving it so far, will post up some pics soon. Anyone else in this area?

Juiced46 - I actually spent a lot of time at various dealers in CT but ended up buying from Ridgefield.

What changed your mind for going BMW instead of STI?

Just curious, nothing else. Was looking into possibly an STI as a seconnd car and wanted to see your thoughts.

Well I actually owned an 04 STI for a year prior to the Legacy that I bought summer 05. I liked the STi a lot but it was no good for a daily driver after a while. I drive RT15 every day and given the short gear ratio, frankly it was a pain in traffic of which there was a lot during that period due to various roadworks etc. It's a good car but in my opinion, a little better as a weekend car. So far, loving the 335, so much better for the daily commute plus I look forward to driving it on weekends too which I sadly didn't with the STI, too much strain during the week.

Ahh ok. Where in Meriden do you live? I work for BMW of North Haven, so if you need anything let me know. I also have a shop in Wallingford where I do Mustang and BMW work. So if you want to do a JB3 or something hit me up

Ok...a few pics as promised, hopefully they look ok. My initial idea for mods only go as far as possibly swapping out the wood trim which i'm not 100% on for brushed aluminum or glacier aluminum. Down the line, possibly wheels and maybe suspension upgrades. I know I may catch some grief for having an auto but it was the one concession I had to make to the wife so that she would green light the purchase
