Unhappy low boost after downpipe install??

posted this on 1addicts, but i need all the info i can get..
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...56#post9158056

i just had my catted downpipes installed (AR) and now my car won't boost over 8psi (i have giac s1).

i also installed the bms dci intakes and made sure the piping weren't shoved in too far etc. install looks fine...

there aren't any loose hose clamps that i can see... so i did some research and it seems like the wastegate arm could be hitting some v-clamp that wasn't positioned correctly when the downpipes were installed?

does anyone have a picture of how it SHOULD look? also, will driving like this damage my wastegate or anything related? i've been driving the car for about a day or so like this, and floored it a few times...

i didn't get the check engine light until it floored it, then i got the following codes:
MSD80/MSD81 Engine module for N53/N54

Bumping this as I now have the same problem. Just got my catless downpipes installed and car won't boost past 7-8 psi. I have a v5 procede installed, and was fine before. The shop that did the install told me they checked around the connections of the downpipes and didn't feel any leak. Is there anything I have to reset on the procede?. I have not thrown any codes after driving the car hard for around 60 miles, but I'm wondering if the procede is clearing them. Also the car sounds very loud, almost like when running the NA map. I didn't expect the downpipes to make that big a difference in noise.

The v-clamps are positions wrong and no allow the wastegates to function properly...Have shop adjust the clamps and you should be fine...This is your problem

Shouldn't I be getting an SES light though or is the procede clearing it?
The shop that did the work is closed until Monday, and I need to drive back home (150 miles). Will this damage anything else? I could probably check it myself, but I have no tools where I'm at right now

V band clamp positioning...

Question... does the actuator on the rear turbo push forward. I moved it through what seems to be a full range of motion and it only moves back??? If this is the case, how can a v band clamp (bolt) prevent the actuator from moveing? The reason that I ask is that I have an issue with being undertarget at high boost applications. Its been a while since I boosted over 16 but now I have an innercooler and meth and so I know the car can handle the boost... upto 20 if I felt the need. I have seen boost this high on my car but not since I switched to JB4. I have posts all over asking for help with a boost leak but I don't seem to be leaking boost from anywhere, externally. I have even changed my intake manifold gaskets trying to find a reason to lose boost over 15.5 psi. Blah Blah Blah...

Does the actuator need to move toward the front of the car??...in the direction of the vband clamp? or as long as its not hung up in the bolt, keeping it from moving backward, is it ok?
