Loaner Vehicle

I dropped the 335 at the dealer in Moncton today for the Turbo and HPFP replacement and gave me this as a loaner to take back with me. They will have the car for a week to do the work.

It is nice but......

The throttle appears to be connected to the sound system as pushing on it just increases the noise with little in the way of thrust. Total moving pylon!!

The switches also remind me of the Piper Seminole I used to fly.

The "Austin Powers" stripe, just completes the package.

Now the "S" model could make me look past everything else, but this one, not so much.

I do appreciate getting a loaner ride though.

the stereo has the option to increase volume when you increase rpm, its suppose to do that. this way when you rip it you never miss a beat

Twin time is golden. Where did you do your hours on the BE-76?

When my car was in for the HPFP recall I had a MINI S Convertible. Fun cars, feels like you're driving on rails. Since it was a convertible, it rattled a bit too much, and the road noise was harsh on the highway. I'd rock on with John Cooper Works upgrades around the city though!

The car is growing on me. Handling wise, it has the responses of a Cheetah on uppers. More power would solve my gripes with it, maybe I will look to add an "S" version to my stable in the future.
