Limp Mode *HELP*

So I was driving home today and I got the dreaded limp mode.... My car started shaking and it had hardly any power.. First thing that came to mind was HPFP!!!

Well, I ran a scan and the only code I threw was:

29DC:
29DC cylinder injection switch-off
error will cause a warning light
error is not currently present
test conditions been completed
short circuit or signal interruption

Is this HPFP related?

My car just went out of warranty, so I'm wondering if I should bring it in with this code so I can can get a new HPFP under the 120k warranty?

I would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks

Hpfp is covered 10 years and 120k, so turn off the car and wait until morning and see if you get long cranks, if so then bring it into the dealer.

Forgot to mention, I pulled out my jb+ and my car is running fine now. I've had the jb+ at 100% with solenoid bypass in for about 2 years with not one code thrown. So I don't think it's the jb+.

I know, but if it doesn't throw a HPFP code they won't cover it under warranty from what I understand... Not trying to get raped by the stealership!!

Ok whats yoir milleage? Also dont worry about the code, if it cranks for a long(abnormal) time then its obvious that its dying. So all up your sa an tell him that ita gonna dir and just fix it now to avoid getting towed. Or if you really wanna get a new pump, go to a shitty gas station and the ethanol in the gas will kill your pump hehe
Im on my original pump somehow lol knock on wood.

It's looks like a bad injector, If you bring it in they will more than likely do the recall on the HPFP, Injectors, and Reprogram the DME if you haven't already had it done. Make sure to remove the JB+ and solenoid bypass to avoid any problems.

Edit: Also if your out of warranty you shouldn't be charged for the recall. I know replaced all my injectors though my car was running fine, so if it is a injector issue you should have it replaced for free.
