BMS led AE or RD v2 led AE??

Hi, Im posting this for a friend who has a 2011 e90 lci halogen headlights. He wanted to get some input on which one to get between the bms led ae or the rd v2 led. Does anyone have any comparison of the two. Inputs by people who have these are very much welcomed and pleased.

Also any input based on the brightness of the two, color, ease of installation (i thought the rd for the 2011 lci halogen had to follow the instructions post on e92lighting but when I called them they said that was not needed anymore) and just whatever info anyone has on it.

Suggestions of other AE brands help too. However, I think he's sticking to the same price range of those two.

I would like to thank anyone who posts their input in advance.

I haven't tested those on an E90 LCI Halogen but I have had success with the WeissLicht kits for the E90 LCI Halogen. These are a plug and play LED solution that provides a cleaner white color (available in blue or red if you prefer) and are a solid option to change out the stock halogens.

I have the BMS Angel Eyes and love them. The install was straight forward and I'm very pleased with the end result. Balanced, bright illumination, and very white. For $99, I could not be happier. Good luck.

Prior to becoming a vendor Ive probably tried a half a dozen kits if not more for Angel eyes, I think this important to know becaues most people try one and just say the love them.

IT depends what your looking for in an angel eye kit.

Most of the kits out there are all re-branded chinese ebay style kits. They will range in price from $70-$180 for the samething.

They are normally hard to see in the sun light but are visible at dusk and naturally at night.

***

If your looking for a solution bright in the day time then normally I would recommend an HID solution, Halogen Bulb solution, or a higher quality brand similar to OSS, Lux, or similar.

We have an array of lights available to use and we dont put the BMW tax on it

Check out my recent post on the Lux AE's. With those being the "brightest ones out" in regards to the LED kits, theyre still not as noticeable as I want them to be. This being said, I wouldn't even bother with any of the cheaper LED AE kits. Stick with high end (such as Lux) LED or HID.

BTW, I retract my previous post stating that HID is overkill for AE's. I now see why...

End result pics would be great. Before and after shots would make my day!

Awesome, thanks for posting that. Can you give me an idea of how close of a match it is to the stock headlights?

Did this on my 09, works with the 2011 halogen as well. Very inexpensive upgrade.

Just took a look last night. BMS Angel Eyes are a very close match to stock headlights. You won't be disappointed.

The ones I listed above are identical and fit up to 2011's halogens. If you want to use them on an 2008- just take off the end brackets.

And are included in the ones I listed above. Just remove the adapter (extention bracket) if you use them on an 08 or less. Pretty straight forward.

Just remember the listing this seller has runs out but a quick search will bring up current listings he has , ,
