You must have the proper audio inputs, the USB and Audio jack inputs in order for this Y-cable to work in your BMW.

This auction for one Y-Cable allows you to play music through any BMW's stereo if you have the proper USB/Audio inputs.

You simply plug one end of the cable into your iPhone or iPod and the other end into the audio / usb inputs and you can listen to music right through your speakers. Also have control of your iPhone or iPod using your radio, or steering wheel controls.

This auction is for one Y-cable only.

PM'ed you. We need to sort this out. You said they are 812 but you sent me a 796, and looks like there were attemp to remove the etching too.....they don't work for me.

just to get thing's clear for you, the part number is 61 12 0 440 812, but the cable itself will say 0 440 796, i didn't do anything to modify the unit, or so, that's the way it comes from oem, FROM THE FACTORY... here is another site that back's up my statement... http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/61120440812/

i didn't sell you a fake, or copy, or any type of modified version of what i've said... this is the actual, oem ,BMW, cable, i ain't sure why it ain't working for you, but maybe call your local dealer and ask them the issue you are having...

OK. Thanks. I'll check with my SA this weekend. Tried it a few times and getting the "Accesories not supported" popup. It also did work one time but music were choppy and it gets disconnected after a while and starts playing the radio station instead.
