I know the performance brakes have yellow calipers, but I also thought they had drilled disks, I cant see the brake discs are drilled, are they actually performance brakes (dont look any bigger) or is it just clownage yellow caliper paint?
Love the wheels. |

I forget the actual figures but the BMWP front discs aren't much bigger than standard 330d brake discs but they look lovely! So they bloody well should do given the price of them!

Q.
The discs are very different and look exactly like those fitted to newer cars like the F10. They appear to have a bell and a rivited disc? Are they like a two piece, or at least a dual material then rather than conventional E9x solid parts? I'm noticing what look like huge rivets around the central hub...

Dont want to sound cynical here, but what's the point in having Performance breaks - unless the car was being used on a track? My 330d has standard brakes and they're very good and it takes allot of heavy braking before you notice any give in them.

Brakes or breaks?
The BMWP discs are indeed two-piece items with a stainless steel disc bell which is rivetted to the disc
