P3 Vent Gauge V2 - In car demo of live data and code reading/clearing.
Here is a short video of the gauge installed in our 2010 135i. It is exactly the same for the 335i but of course the vent portion looks different for 335.
Our car has a Vishnu PROcede installed on it, and the PROcede was currently active during this video, but the PROcede's CANClear function was off to prevent the PROcede from clearing the codes before we had a chance to read them... Yes, the gauge works on the canbus even when a canbus tune is active. This was not an easy feat... Most of you probably know that even a BT tool will not work with the procede in an active map. The gauge DOES work. No need to switch to valet mode. Just in case somebody asks (which someone always does!) NO, a tune is NOT required, this works with all tunes, flashes, piggies, stock cars, everything. So we have you covered if you have an n54 or n55. This is the version that we have started to ship out to a select few of our pre-order customers over the last couple of weeks and will soon be shipping out the rest as I get back reports from everyone that all is good on all the different makes/models/years etc out there. And yes, we built in the BMW serial protocol for 2007 year cars as well, so you 2007 guys can still use the gauge with no worries, we got you covered! Yes, I know I suck at holding the camera. |

I didn't like this at first since I had the old one.. But I do like the procede integration. Sold! Wait. I don't have a tune or a car anymore.

I have the existing gauge, any discount to upgrade? When is this being released? Heard about it 4 months ago first I think
EDIT: I have an Innovate LC-1 wideband with a 5V analog output. Can this gauge be configured to show AFR from it? I see you have 3 analog inputs available? How do those work? |

The gauge has 3 analog inputs, 2 of which can be used as universal displays for ANY 0-5v sensor. Do not hook up a device that sends more than 5 volts or you WILL damage your gauge. To enable an analog input, enter the config menu and set the A1 input to Y for yes. After doing this, 3 new options will appear. A1.DP, analog 1 decimal points. The gauge will show 9999 on the screen, and tapping the first button will move the decimal point. A1.Lo, analog 1 Low volt, or Ov reading, which the gauge will show when it sees ZERO volts on the input. -999 through 9999 A1.Hi, analog 1 High volts, or 5v reading, which the gauge will show when it sees FIVE volts on the input. -999 through 9999 Simply set the values for the 0v and 5v readings of your attached sensor, as well as the number of decimal points, and the gauge will interpolate anything between 0 and 5v to the proper display. EXAMPLE CONFIGURATION – LC-1 AFR Controller: According to the LC-1 wideband controller documentation, Analog output 2 is the 0-5v output. By default it is 0V = 7.35 AFR and 5V = 22.39 AFR . To configure our gauge to show this on the first analog input, we would use the following settings: A1.DP, 2 decimal points, 99.99 A1.Lo, 7.35 A1.Hi, 22.39 After putting these settings onto the analog input, the gauge will show proper AFR displayed in the Analog 1 gauge mode. |

I would be interested in a pic of a 335 install. It is really just a plug into the canbus and nothing else?
