Front brake pad 6000 mile warning
Hay all,
The warning to change the brake pads in 6k miles came on nearly 2k miles ago. Every time i start the car i get the warning but it is still showing 6k miles until they need changing. Is this normal or shoul i start to plan the finance?

Yes this is normal.This happened to me also it goes by how much is left on the pads usually.I have 4600 left on my rear pads and the light just came on.Just change the pads as soon as you can. |

I never got round to booking the car in. But now the warning has changed to 7K miles when the pads need replacing my driving style has not changed...
The warning came on after a service. Could it be the tests that the garage did were more aggressive than my driving?
