Tire Fitment and opinion question
Let em start off with I know very little about wheel fitment. I understand the concepts but I can't wrap my head around it. So I ask all you knowledgable and KIND forum members for help. I do not want to roll the fenders. a simple yes or no if possible would be fine.
car : 07 335i e92 lowered on eibach springs. Wheels and tires trying to fit: 19x9 +36 (245 35 19)? 19x10 +38 (275 30 19)? I am buying tires this afternoon. The shop will not test fit for me so I have to buy them before testing fitment. I don't want to put myself in that situation. the opinions/question I would like from you is; would the 245 give me a better feel and less understeer then a 235 up front or am I asking for trouble. Thanks, Jorge Last edited by jzepeda; 03-24-2011 at 02:38 PM.. |

You wont really feel that much of a difference between 235 and 245.. If its me in your situation I would go with 235s just to avoid those unknown issues that might be there..

To be honest, a jump from a 235 to a 245 wont be much of a different on surface roads. You may feel slightly more lateral grip on track, but it will be minimal. This will all depend on wheel width as well.
