Disable fender sidemarker bulbcheck?
if i were to have my fenders shaved and remove the sideblinker, does anyone know the variable i need to change in order to disable the bulb check?

I thought the computer doesnt check for the sidemarker?

If you are removing sidemarkers, the car won't care. lol it's not going to throw any error messages.
BUT, if you're installing LED bulbs into the sidemarker then you'll get start-up flashes. No hyper-blinking when you actually utilize it, but it will have cold/warm bulb checks, which will cause these "flickers". Only way to get rid of them is through coding. Contact Christina@LTBMW. So: 1. Car doesn't throw codes with LED sidemarkers or removal of sidemarkers 2. No Hyper-blinking when LED bulbs are installed in sidemarkers 3. Flickering occurs with LED bulbs during cold and warm checks a. Only way to remove this is through coding. |
