Dude (or dudette)....your black 335xi looked slick!
The car had a "E90Post.com" sticker on the right rear window so I know it's a member here. How come your car looks so slick? Has it been lowered? Custom kidney grilles in the front I believe. Anything else? |

If you dont know whether the car is lowered the answer is always its Not lowered. If its not lowered then its not "slick" :P

Don't do it. Softest clearcoat in the world. My black car looks like shi^ after a winter of hand washes. Ive had a few dark cars and this is easily the worst.

Is BSM just as soft as Jet Black? I thought it was Jet Black that was a PITA.

No, it isn't. For whatever reason (honestly, we've discussed it ad nasuem at autopia.org and no one really knows why), the flat colours (jet black, alpine white, crimson red tend to be painfully soft, whereas the metallics are actually reasonably hard. My sparkling graphite paint is rock solid.
