Forgive the stupid question but i wonder how you order Idrive on a car w/o navigation. i have an 07 525i loaner now with Idrive but no nav.

is it included in premium package? help!!!!

How is that possible, other than perhaps taking out the NAV disc?

I thought you only get idrive when you order navigation?

On 5 series and only on 5 series and if i'm not mistaken now on x5's as well, you get idrive whether you opt for Navigation or not.
You will notice that the screen is much smaller in your 525i loaner then if it had Navigation.
And to get Navigation you have to order it. It's not part of the premium package.

yes, on 5 series and now the new X5 you get Idrive even if you didnt choose navigation. The navigation dvd for 5 series and X5 is an option and idrive is standard
on the new 3 series you dont get idrive or navigation for choosing premium package. It is a seperate option which comes with Idrive and Navigation together. It is $2900
