Retrofit paddle shift for e90?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has successfully done the retrofit of paddle shifters to a e90 sedan?

Care to share?

if you go on real oem.com and look at both the paddle shift wheel and non paddle shift (with accessory control), the only difference, is that the paddle wheel has paddles in place but the wiring and hardware is all exactly the same...

seems like the slipring assembly is different too, but can anyone confirm the wiring thereafter?
