ZSP Suspension?

I just got the sport springs and "old" bmw sports performance retro kit installed. But the rear still looks like its sitting high. Does anyone know what the ZSP ride height is supposed to be?

usually it's the front that sits higher. But yes ZSP ride height is only 0.4-0.6" lower than stock standard, and insufficient a drop for a lot of people. I just went with a beefier spring seat in the front for a slightly more aggressive look.

it may take a week or so for the suspension to settle. give it some time and see if it gets lower

yeh i'll wait a week or so. my front is fine. i can tell the height difference from before but from the center of the wheel cap to the top of the fender gap its measuring out to be 14.5 inches in the rear. from searching other posts, Mr.5 said zsp ride height is supposed to be 14 inches even in the rear.

It may depend on E90 or E92.... mine is an E92.... First pic is the front, second the rear. This was BEFORE I did the Dinan Stage 3 suspension, stock ZSP, with about 50,000kms on it.

Your new suspension will drop MAYBE 1/8" or so... maybe more.

I put the Perf shocks on the stock sport springs- looks perfect imho. Even if I did want it a bit lower I wouldn't do it due to ground clearence and driving in the snow.

fransicomar and Stealyourface ... those are perfect... you can't be dropped due to curbs and snow - just the right height.

Fransiscomar, what rims are those and sizes? really, really nice.
