Forgestar F14 or F14F on 335i?

Hey guys. I really like how the forgestar f14 rims look on a 335

But I cant decide between the forgestar f14 and forgestar f14f

http://www.forgestar.com/v2/wheels.php

That is the f14

this is the f14f

What does the terminology mean?

rotary forged and spun forged?

which would look better on a black 335? thank you

I'm pretty sure the f stands for forged

The f14f look a lot better IMO, and if you have the cash for those get em. I'm think mod bargains has the prices up on their site

Yes, F = forged in f14F. I personally like the F14 better, but they are both going to look nice.

Thank you guys. I looked at aloot of pictures. But still cant determine which color would look better.

Gloss Black looks nice, but it looks like cheap plastic sometimes.

And matte black looks nice as well , but other things on the car have to be matte too

The Forgestar F14 is rotary forged aka Flow form and the Forgestar F14 is a 2-piece modular forged wheel. There is a big difference in terms of price and it all comes down to what style you like best. Do you like a deep dish wheel or are you favor a full face concave wheel? In terms of the finish, I would say that Matte Black is the more popular choice as it does give the car an overall more aggressive look. I'll go ahead and shoot you over a PM with more details!

Thank you. About the finish though, I plan on making everything on my car gloss, as matte really goes unnoticed, more stealthy than flashy. But I would need pics of these both on my car to make a decision lol

But I have also seen titanium and thaat looks cool too. But I heard its discontinued

THis is what it looks like. If I paint my calipers red as well it would look very nice.

Forgestar is a division of iForged, so an F14F would more or less be an iForged wheel just with a different center cap. The beauty of the Forgestar F14F is that they could be had for under $3k a set.

If that's the case then the gloss black finish would be a great choice. Both the titanium and brushed titanium finishes have been discontinued and are no longer available. Send me a side profile picture of your car and I'll photoshop both the gloss black and matte black finish to give you an idea of how it's going to look!

The F14F does have a deep dish and of course will be heavier than a standard full face wheel. In terms of performance and handling, weight does play a big factor.

One has lip and one does not. I prefer the F14 for this design.

I think I'll end up getting the F14 once I figure out the sizes I need to be as flush as possible without fender rolling. The F14F has a really nice lip, but I have a 350z as my other car and went with the "lip" route The concave look is nice

Can you please explain what you mean by flush as possible and fender rolling?

Well by flush as possible I mean the wheel and tire being as wide and with little or no gap to the fender without having to roll the fender. Your fender is usually shaped like an L and you have to roll the inner part up or the wheel will hit it and damage your fender if you go too wide.
