Is there a way to reinforce my 6AT?

After I upgraded to RB turbos, i realized my 6AT isn't stronge enough for the new power output... Does anyone know a way to upgrade my 6AT? (upgrade torque converter?)

You have a 6hp19 tranny, so Search the salvage yards for a 6hp26 transmission, out of a 5 series, and do a swap.

i dont think its a swap and go with this car. You probably need to recode the tranny .

It has been mentioned on the Forums that the 6AT in the diesel and the 5er V8 is a heavier duty design.
MY shop followed BMW instructions. Emptied oil and changed filter/oilpan . Stock heat exchanger for the oil .

I believe Enrita is in Sweden, so the cost wouldn't really be that comparable. I've seen tranny flush and fluid changes range between $75-$200 depending on the shop used.

So it would be cheaper than that in the US? I have heard many people saying it was around $800, but that sounded very off.

Its easy to get most of the fluid out, but you still have to worry about the fluid in the torque converter.

60%? Where do you come up with that figure?

If it is that vs not doing it at all the choice is easy.

I've heard a lot of things on here as well. Doesn't mean it's true.

Many of us have been changing the fluid without issue.
