Lowest beneficial IAT for maximum timing advance ?

Hi,

We all want low IATs on the N54 engine, but is there a "lowest IAT" under which there is no benefit as far as ignition timing is concerned ? I mean, if at let's say 20 Celsius the ECU provides max timing, is there a point of further lowering that IAT via methanol/water injection ? (I am not talking about the octane increasing properties of the methanol, but just the cooling properties).

Honestly, the colder the better is true up until the temp changes from combustion to intake temps could cause metal fatigue.

The more o2 in the chamber the better.
