Stop trying to watch shitty persian films! I watch in foreign languages all the time, and none of them are dubbed.

Because bandwidth is limited and you need to cater to the masses.

They also need to be able to stream close captioned movies for people who are deaf or simply can't hear well.

Movie studios( Paramount, Universal, Lionsgate,..) have contracts with movie rental companies and have the supplier power of new release movies. They want to sell their hard copies first before making them available in digital form. 28 day delay.

actually i just wanted to be able to watch some old Anime (like Initial D) for nostalgic reminiscing but then it was dubbed in English and wasn't worth watching.
Then I also wanted to watch the Korean film Old Boy again.... that too was dubbed in English. I like watching Japanese films with or without subtitles to help me not forget it... I don't communicate with my Japanese friends as much as I'd like to so watching Japanese drams and Anime is the best way to remember the language I didn't even know there were Persian films on Netflix lol. Those who watch Anime know that dubbed Anime is rarely any good... I can only think of a few from the top of my head that I enjoy watching dub (probably cause I originally watched it dubbed on Tonami, like Gundam Wing or DBZ). Funny tags

or does it basically stream whatever is playing on your computer at that moment? Cause one thing I was going to try out was connect a cable from my mac to my TV but I never got around to getting the cable...

I saw a new commercial for blockbuster, basically doing the same thing as netflix, but doesn't have to do the 28 days waiting period...looks promising. I'll check into it see if it's worth it to switch over
