Windows Tint in Chicago

Hi Folks, I have never got my windows tinted on any of my previous cars. This is the first time I am going for it. I don't want to for a real dark tint either. Something light and consistent on all the sides. Any tips or suggestions that I should ask the vendor for? How much does it usually cost? I don't want a cheap option which would suck in the long run.
Also any fellow Chicagoans here who have suggestions for a good trusted vendor?

I got my 35% tint from umbra window tinting in schaumburg. Around $230 for all 5 windows with pinnacle formula1 (lifetime warranty).

First, welcome to the boards

Second, I just got my tints done through VS Motorsports. They have a guy come in and do tints. He is very very good, and very anal about his work. Here is a crappy pictures of my car with all 6 windows tinted

my 335i tinted by the same guy

mK, you get the CF M3 lip yet? Mine has really grown on me, will look great with your cf roof!

Ceaser charges 120. Lifetime warranty. Pm me for number. I've had 3 cars and sent Jim 20+ cars. Amazing job

'11 m3 comp pkg cf lip. Of course a week after I finally order it I see someone comes out w/ a knock-off for 1/2 $. Pricey for a lip, but oem fitment and 10min home install.

20 percent all around and not sure what they charged, give matt at vs a pm

My friend had a maxima done by cesar. He does not have pre-cut films for specific vehicles and has to apply the film on the window to cut out the shape (ended up having a piece of the headliner cut off by accident!). You get what you pay for.

Mark, congrats on your M3..Looks sweet w/ the front windshield tint!
