Need help from you guys!
Hey guys,
I need your help. I am really confused right now. I am an Oregon resident, and I just bought a E92 CPO from a BMW dealer in CA. I paid in full amount with cashier check last Friday, and the money has already withdrew from my account. That means the dealer has already got the money from my account. I did all the paper work in the dealer on that day. So for now, I am just staying home and waiting for my car to be shipped.... But yesterday, I got a call from the dealer. They asked me to sign a credit application for them. They just require me to fill out my basic information like my name, my address, my birthday and my signature. I am so wondering why I have to sign a credit application but I already paid in full amount. I am worried if this is a scam and they will just say I am still owing their money because of the credit application that I sign. I tried to ask the salesperson who have been helping me, but I haven't got any clear explanation. Any of you guys have met this situation before?? Is it a scam?? Any government department that I can check on this??? Please help!! Updated: This dealer sucks!! I called at least few times everyday, and every time I am transferred to voice mail box. Called my salesperson, he never called me back. So far, I have no idea where my car is, I don't have any shipping information. I am so pissed off!!! |

BMW Encinitas!!
Only today, I called 5 times, no matter finance department, sales department, the salesperson who have been working with me....No one picking up my calls, except the reception! This is really crazy...I have never met a dealer like this! I paid about $34500 for a CPO, but now I have no idea where my car is, and what they are doing on my car...Super ridiculous! Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the bank withdraw the money from your account when you have them issue the check (cashier's check).
You pay bank -> Bank writes check -> You use check -> Buyer confidently accepts check because it's written by the bank. |

Update: After almost 10 phone calls today, my salesperson finally called me back. He said the car was just left the dealer. He is going to find out the shipping information and send it to me. About the credit application, he said the manager doesn't mention about it anymore. So, told me to forget about it.

Seems pretty sketchy to be honest. I never buy an out of state car unless I'm there in person signing and driving it back. Hope you get your car soon! Best of luck.
When you are ready to make it a bit unique shoot me a pm for our awesome starter package! |

Thank you so much. I bought my car there because I could not find a CPO E92 in AW with full loaded. But anyway, thank you. From what I heard, the car got loaded on the truck today, and will be my address in three days! Thank you! And I looked at your website, your products are at good prices. I will give it a try after I got my car. Last edited by kelvin2010; 04-08-2011 at 12:02 AM.. |

I did some research about this dealer. Based on the reviews on the internet, it is not doing so well after it sold to AutoNation. From my experience, except they don't pick up calls and don't call back even they promised. They sell pretty nice car and I like my salesperson, he is very friendly. |
