Does tire-rim insurance cover curb rash on rims?

A bit deceptive but spoken like a true finance manager.

Most tire and wheel insurance packages will only cover damage that leaves the wheel or tire unserviceable and unable to hold air.

You can get a package that also covers cosmetic damage but it is usually quite expensive.

If you got the insurance through your BMW dealer, it will not cover cosmetic damage due to your neglect.
