Help!
I was driving yesterday on my car. First the radio sound was dissaperaing. Then ABS and brake warning lights all chime and flash on the dash and then the sounds cuts out with a crackle pop kinda sound. The radio is still on just no sounds under any channel (sat radio, cd, am, fm etc.) Still the yellow “brake” and “abs” indicators started to come and go with a (!) indicator (in the center of the panel). Then battery indicator came up with all indicators above. I was driving all that time, trying to get home asap, the last indicator that appeared was (!) indicator (not the same as above) orange with letter "D", it is on the right to mileage window - the manual says transmission failure and emergency default program, all other indicators have disappeared. I drove back home, mechanics works fine, no noise, breaks are the same as always. Just this indicators stays there. What is it? Electronics failure? Battery? ![]() I checked fuses, all are fine..=( Help!!!!!!!!!! |

Check battery
That many errors means a lot of sensors are getting readings beyond their recommended range Most likely because voltage is low due to abttery |

Usually no need to replace the alternator
You just chnge the voltage regulator That's about $125-150 |
