http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=473430 there are many side effects read the two threads and sub threads above. You have to know which system you are starting with and how to interface with the existing amps and electronics . If you want BMW to still be able to program your car and or service it you have to mount the old head unit somewhere else in the car. this is covered in the above threads The auxiliary input is the least of your problems you would have to run one from the new head unit if it has one or tap into the existing wiring to hook it up. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=dynavin I am not pushing dynavin though its the best looking solution for a BMW but the threads have a lot of relevant info in them for changing any deck. I installed a z110bt in my car. You don't need stock aux. An aftermarket aux goes into same place inside your center-console, or at least that's where I put mine. It's an awesome swap but there are tons of hidden cost. Pm me if your really serious about the swap, I'll help you out.
