Tranny Fluid Leak - Is it safe to drive to the dealership?
I have a tranny fluid leak and need to replace the sealing sleeve and tranny pan seal.
Do these cars have a tranny fluid sensor that tells us if our cars are too low on tranny fluid and not safe to drive? I am wondering if it can hurt anything to drive it to the dealership with a lower than normal amount of tranny fluid? Thanks guys

it depends how much leaked out and how far the dealership is. i drove there (6miles) when mine was slightly leaking. as long as there's no puddle, I think it should be fine.

hey thanks for your reply. Well there actually is a puddle - so the main question is...
does the E90 have a tranny fluid level sensor that goes off if the tranny is too low on fluid?

It's funny you had the time to reply to my post but can't include a simple "yes it has a tranny fluid sensor" or "no it does not".
